Product Description
Patents Applied For
The Bottle Treater has the versatility to provide flame to your products. You will have a turn-key solution for pre-treatment prior to printing at a fraction of the price from competitors. The machine is made entirely in the United States.
Submit your products or drawing of your products and we will manufacture the individual vacuum chucks for each product. Cost of each chuck tooling is $250.
Your machine will be shipped ready for production.
FieroSil is available for optimal ink adhesion.
Flame Treatment
Flame pretreatment improves the surface tension for superior adhesion. The system will come with the option to use a propane or natural gas. The flame system will remove any oil contaminants on the product. Only a 2″ (51 mm) element is required for the treatment (lowers consumable consumption). This is due to the system vacuum holding the product as it ascends and descends while spiraling.
The Bottle Treater features the revolutionary SA burner.
Advantages
- Low cost, few parts, minimal floor space.
- Minimal energy consumption. Minimal gas consumption.
- Spiral ascension and decline allow your product to be treated with smaller energy consumption. Investment savings.
- Ease of use makes it ideal for unskilled labor
- The unit can be plugged into a regular 15 AMP wall plug.
- Heavy duty locking casters for easy system movement.
Bottle Treater Specifications
A flame pretreatment machine that treats a full bottle with a tiny flame element — the product spirals up and down through the flame on a vacuum-held platen, so you get full coverage on a fraction of the gas and floor space competitors need.
| Specification | Detail |
|---|---|
| Maximum throughput | 1,800 parts per hour |
| Product capacity | Platen accepts products up to 5″ (127 mm) diameter · vacuum-held on custom chucks |
| Treatment motion | Platen rotates while it ascends and descends through the flame — rotation can be switched off to treat one side of square or flat products |
| Fuel | Propane or natural gas · exhaust blower with 4″ (102 mm) flanged outlet |
| Dimensions | 87″ H × 46″ W × 42″ D (2057 × 1168 × 1066 mm) · 540 lb (245 kg) |
| Electrical | 110 V, 50/60 Hz — a standard 15-amp wall plug |
| Pneumatic | 80 PSI · 2 CFM (1 HP pump) base machine; 4 CFM (2 HP) with the flame option |
Small Flame, Full Treatment
- Less gas, less floor space — because the bottle spirals through the flame instead of passing a full-height burner, only a small treatment element is needed: lower gas consumption, fewer consumables, a smaller machine.
- No-tool changeovers — vacuum-held product chucks are low-cost and swap between products by hand, no tools; send us your product or a drawing and we build the chuck for it.
- Runs itself — variable rotation and ascend/descend speeds on digital displays, automatic vacuum on/off, and simple controls make it a job for unskilled labor. Loader and unloader options available.
- Add FieroSil when flame isn't enough — for the hardest-to-bond inks and coatings, FieroSil™ integrates on the same machine. For higher-volume cylindrical treating, see the Flame 360.
