Screen printing on your large format cylindrical products

SA manufactures equipment for screen printing on your large format cylindrical products such as kegs, water cooler jugs, traffic cones, buckets and much more. There is not part too large to print. One variable to consider when printing large diameter products is the space you have available. Your work area for printing cylindrical products will be larger when compared to flat products. This is due to the nature of printing cylindrical products. During the process of screen printing cyldinrical products, the screen is moved from left to right as the flood and squeegee system syncronize with the printing motion. There are two types fixtures used when printing cylindrical products. There are gear driven fixtures, in which a gear is assigned through the pitch diameter (print area) of your product which allows the screen to move as the product does. The other fixture type is friction driven which involves your product being moved by the screen as it moves during the printing process. All manufacturing is done on site in the SA facility located in Farmington, CT.

One printer for all of your products

The Model HLT is designed for printing on large products that are either tapered or straight walled. The modular design of the Model HLT is versatile for a wide assortment of products and they all may be shared on the same printer with a quick and simple product tooling change over. Your product tooling is designed and manufactured at Systematic Automation allowing for quality control and testing of machines prior to shipment. The rail system that the screen frame holder travels on can accommodate large print areas and are customizable through the modular design if your application is particularly large. 

Printers of traffic cones, for example, may have to print a large assortment of sizes that can be placed on the road or inside of a building. The  product tooling of the Model HLT allows the operator to adjust the angle your product is stationed, which is particularly important if your parts are cone shaped. Each size will have a different angled adjustment so that the screen is parallel with your product. This the case with all tapered products.
